Edge GreenTech develops the structures that let clean-energy and climate-infrastructure projects secure financing they couldn’t otherwise attain. We sit where two disciplines meet — specialty insurance and project finance — and our advantage is that we understand both deeply enough to build solutions that require both. When a project stalls because its technology is unproven at scale, its offtake market is young, or its capital stack won’t close, that intersection is exactly where the answer lives.
We work for the people building real things: project developers first, alongside the institutional investors, insurers, and counterparties whose capital and capacity make projects happen.

Our approach didn’t start with green technology. It was refined over decades in specialty insurance and risk finance through our sister firm, Risk Capital Partners: the practice of taking a risk everyone calls impossible, deconstructing it into its component parts, and transferring each piece to a party willing to bear it. Green technology is where that method matters most today. The energy transition is full of projects that work but can’t get funded — and that gap is precisely the kind of problem our family has been solving for a generation.
