A serial entrepreneur with more than twenty-five years in specialty insurance, Nemo founded the Edge and Risk Capital Partners family of companies. He is an insurance-linked and structured-finance expert, a frequent guest lecturer, and the author of numerous articles on specialty coverages and synthetic financial guarantees for green energy and emerging technology.

He developed the proprietary risk-deconstruction and securitization models at the core of the firm’s work. He holds a BS from UCLA and an MBA from USC.

Steve Hacking

Due Diligence & Strategy

Steve brings more than twenty-five years of due-diligence and strategy advisory across more than two hundred business, asset, and project transactions, with particular emphasis on green-technology projects. He built one of London’s leading commercial due-diligence practices and served as lead advisor in a top UK risk-finance and insurance due-diligence practice, and is a former member of the investment committee of the London Waste and Recycling Board. He holds an MA in Engineering from Cambridge, an MSc with distinction from Imperial College London, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.

Michael Bainbridge

Specialty & Reinsurance

Michael has more than forty years in insurance, beginning in marine insurance with a major international Lloyd’s broker. He has been a managing general agent and underwriter and has held Lloyd’s binding authorities across a wide range of classes. In recent years he has developed insurance and reinsurance programs for the green sector using derivatives and parametric triggers.
