NEMO PERERA – MANAGING Member

Mr. Perera is a serial entrepreneur with more than twenty-three years of experience in the specialty insurance industry. He previously served as VP of AIG and co-found Risk Capital Partners, LLC., an internationally recognized specialty risk consultancy & brokerage. Today the RCPS family of companies includes Edge Management, LLC (Risk Finance) and Edge GreenTech (Risk Finance for GreenTech). Mr. Perera has a proven track record for new product development in both specialty insurance and capital markets. He is an insurance-linked / life settlement expert who is a frequent guest lecturer and has authored several articles related to life settlements, specialty insurance coverages that mitigate financial risk, and synthetic financial guarantees for green energy and new tech. In addition to structuring unique risk finance structures, Mr. Perera has developed proprietary securitization models that help clients secure funding through rated debt structures. Mr. Perera holds a BS from UCLA and an MBA from USC.

 

Colin McGonigal - Senior Director | Consulting

Mr. McGonigal has a background in financial consulting, with a focus on risk identification and mitigation. As part of his analytical approach to reviewing client projects and goals, he is highly skilled at identifying and framing key issues and offering viable insight to enable client success. Mr. McGonigal specializes in assessing project risks and pinpointing potential solutions geared toward facilitating project funding. Through his understanding of critical investor concerns and expectations, he is able to provide valuable strategic recommendations on various aspects of project/transaction development. Mr. McGonigal holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Analytics from Villanova University.

 

John Vrysen

Mr. Vrysen is the President of Vrysen Consulting and has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has the expertise in understanding complex financial structures and building financial models. Mr. Vrysen has served as a Board member for the John Hancock Life Insurance Companies and the John Hancock Mutual Funds. His corporate career included roles as President of John Hancock Annuities, Chief Financial Officer of Manulife Financial’s US Operations and Chief Actuary of North American Security Life. Mr. Vrysen holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and holds an Executive Masters Professional Director certification from the American College of Corporate Directors.

STEVE HACKING

Mr. Hacking has more than 25 years’ experience of due diligence and strategy advisory work across more than 200 business, asset, and project transactions. He set up one of London’s leading commercial due diligence practices and was lead advisor in the set up and growth of one of the UK’s top risk finance and insurance due diligence practices. He specializes in the investigation and support of technology businesses, with an emphasis on green technology transactions. He mentors partners and other senior staff at some of London’s top strategy consultancies, where he also trains investigation and due diligence skills to the analytical teams. He was a member of the investment committee of the London Waste and Recycling Board. Mr. Hacking holds an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University, an MSc with distinction from Imperial College London, and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.

 

MATTHEW JODZIEWICZ – GENERAL COUNSEL

Matthew Jodziewicz has over forty years of legal experience in complicated legal matters having held the position of Government Counsel in Washington D.C. and later as private Corporate and In-House Counsel for entities ranging from publicly traded Cellular and WiFi concerns to privately held Insurance and Banking entities.  He has detailed knowledge and experience of the legal and intellectual property challenges facing high tech and internet firms from initial start-up, public offering, merger, and acquisition. Mr. Jodziewicz holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University, and a Master of Laws from The National Law School, George Washington University.  He is admitted to the state bars of California, The District of Columbia, and New Jersey, as well as to the Federal Patent Bar.

 

PAMELA LAUDENSLAGER

Pamela Laudenslager brings a wealth of experience to Edge Management as a seasoned connector, investor, fundraiser, business strategist, and marketing corporate executive. Her career spans multiple industries, including senior management positions in Fortune 500 companies across entertainment, publishing, media, and cosmetics. She is a two-time Tony Award and three-time Drama Desk Award winner for her Broadway production work. Her diverse background includes serving as a White House Advance under President Gerald Ford and chairing the Breast Cancer Awareness program with Evelyn Lauder at Estee Lauder. Pam's ability to tackle big-picture strategic issues while managing intricate project details, combined with her extensive network and experience, positions her as a valuable asset. A devoted philanthropist, Pam has held various leadership roles on the BOD for Bideawee, NYC, animal welfare, Trustee of Green Mountain College, VT, Trustee the NY Blood Center, NYC, and Sheltering Arms Children’s Service, NYC. Currently, serves as the President of her NYC Coop BOD and BOD The Trauma and Neurology Research Foundation, and Bideawee Nominating Committee.

 

Will Cox

Will brings over a decade of experience in energy markets, project origination, and commercial strategy, with a focus on hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and petrochemicals. He has held senior roles at H Cycle, Monarch Energy, and Trafigura, where he led large-scale energy transactions, developed go-to-market strategies, and secured multi-million-dollar supply agreements. Will began his career at ExxonMobil, advancing through engineering, planning, and commercial leadership positions. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Mandarin from the University of Alabama, where he graduated cum laude.

 

Michael Bainbridge

Michael started his career with a major international Lloyd’s Broker in the Marine insurance business in London as a Lloyd’s Broker heavily involved with P&I, War risk and environmental risks. He has over forty years’ experience in various classes of insurance business and has been involved in the formation and running of various Insurance Companies and Captives overseas. As well as being a Broker, he has been a Managing General Agent, Underwriter and held Lloyd’s Binding Authorities. Michael has developed various unique insurance and reinsurance programmes for both property and liability business in the corporate sector. In addition, he has provided insurance expertise and guidance in the development and placement of financial instruments for the green sector using derivatives and parametric triggers.
